About VeloIQ

Built by people who have stood trackside.

VeloIQ is the performance intelligence layer for elite track cycling — a Momentum Coaching initiative. We exist to close the distance between the data a session produces and the decision a coach makes from it, while the moment to act is still open.

Our mission

Turn the signal of a session into a decision — before the next effort, not next week.

A Momentum Coaching initiative

Elite cycling produces more data per session than almost any endurance sport — power, lap timing, position, cadence, physiological signal, environment. Most of it dies in a spreadsheet before anyone can use it.

VeloIQ was built to be the layer between the sensor and the decision: capture from the meters athletes already trust, reason on the laps that matter, and hand a clear next step back to the rider and the coach — governed, auditable, and grounded in the program's own data.

We build first for the athletes and federations we work with directly, then make the same operating standard portable to any national program that wants it.

Our story

From the coaching floor to the platform.

VeloIQ didn't start as software. It started as a coaching problem.

Momentum Coaching was built around a simple conviction: that the difference between a good ride and a winning one is usually visible in the data long before it shows up on the results sheet — if someone can read it in time.

Working with sprinters, pursuiters and mass-start riders, the same friction kept appearing. The telemetry existed. The expertise existed. What was missing was the connective tissue — a way to bring the meter, the model and the coach's judgement together fast enough to change the very next effort.

VeloIQ is the answer to that gap. We took the coaching method that already worked and gave it an intelligence layer: federation-grade telemetry capture, discipline-specific analysis, and AI feedback grounded in a program's own performance corpus rather than a generic model.

The principle hasn't changed since day one. The platform serves the coaching relationship — never the other way around. Technology earns its place only when it gives an athlete a faster, clearer path to being better.

Our approach

Measure. Understand. Improve.

Three commitments that shape everything we build — a continuous loop from the boards back to the athlete.

01 — MEASURE

Capture what happened.

Direct ingest from the meters, wearables and trackside timing the elite already trust. Clean, normalized, and tied to the athlete — not scattered across apps.

02 — UNDERSTAND

Read what it means.

Discipline-aware analysis and AI reasoning grounded in your own program's data. We surface the laps that matter against the athlete's own baseline — not a leaderboard.

03 — IMPROVE

Decide what's next.

A clear, prescriptive next step in the recovery interval — the same view for athlete, coach and director, with every recommendation logged and auditable.

The people

A team that has worked both sides of the line.

What we believe

Principles we won't trade away.

The values that decide what we build, and just as importantly, what we don't.

01 / ATHLETE

The athlete owns the data

An athlete's file is theirs. It travels with them, and granular consent decides who sees what — including the AI itself.

02 / TRUST

Governance is the substrate

Security review, data isolation, audit logging and consent aren't features bolted on for a demo. They're built in from the first line.

03 / CRAFT

Coaching leads, tech serves

Technology earns its place only when it gives a clearer, faster path to being better. The relationship comes first.

04 / RIGOUR

Grounded, not generic

Every insight is grounded in your program's own data and an athlete's own baseline — never a one-size-fits-all model.
